Angela Damman calls it the Bruja Bag, but we call it a cultural institution. Made using 1,800 yards of spun sansevieria fiber from a plant native to Mexico's Yucatán region, 17-18 artisans are involved in the making of this limited production luxury handbag over a period of months. Once the plant fiber is extracted, it goes through a laborious process of being crushed, dried, spun and weaved with tools and techniques passed down through the generations. The Bruja Bag, also available in black, is truly a work of art.
