    Product description

This hard to obtain piece was made by members of the Kuikuro indigenous group, one of the tribes living in the Xingu Indigenous Park covering an area of 27,000 square kilometers in the state of Mato Grosso, Brazil, deep in the Amazon basin. There are 5,500 inhabitants, divided into different tribes and ethnicities, each with its own dialects and culture. The crafts of the Kuikuro are considered some of the most beautiful due to their technical mastery and the aesthetic quality of their drawings. Authentic objects like this hammock look great in any home or wall.
